The SmartFactory is very proud to release the new version of its articles management module SmartSection 2.13 Final ! What's new in version 2.13 Final?
As usual, many bug fixes but a 2 cool features and a security fix. Because of this security fix, we STRONGLY recommend that everyone using any older version of SmartSection upgrade to this new release !
[adsense]8f2094c223bafef17f88e17668f3cff0[/adsense]So the cool things now ! As requested by many of you, it is now possible to upload a file linked to an article directly within the creation/edit form from the administrative section
. It is yet only available on admin side but rest assure that next release will also have this feature within the user side as well !Also, in the previous official release, we introduced Flash integration. Any Flash file uploaded within an article will be automatically displayed at the end of the article, as embedded in it ! So the Flash will actually displays !
But now, you can even decide where you want it within the article. It needs an extra step, but it's easily done :
1- Create an article and within the File upload textbox, click the Browse button to select a valid Flash file on your computer.
2- Save the article. The Flash is now uploaded on the server and linked to this article.
3- Re-edit that article and locate the file ID at the bottom of the article :

4- Then, whereever you want in the article, insert this tag : [flash-12], where 12 is the ID of the uploaded file.
5- Save he article. The Flash will automatically be displayed at the place you chose !
What is SmartSection?
SmartSection is an article management module for your XOOPS site. It is intended to provide the best functionalities of the News and WF-Section modules. The administrator would have the opportunity to use the module to manage news, article, tutorials, etc... It is intended to be complete, flexible and yet easy to use.
Where can I get it ?
Carefully read the file upgrade.txt as it contains important informations about the steps that need to be performed in order to successfully upgrade to this version.
As a usual recommendation : The SmartFactory STRONGLY recommends that you take a full backup before INSTALLING or UPDATING any module.
